23rd April: More time for Breathing Bones

This week Kat‘s Breathing Bones is on Thursday, and it’s an extra long treat this week. More time to release and let go, and with an extra special long relaxation at the end.

This might be the week for you to do as many of your busy things before class, so that you can really sink into this time knowing you’ve done what you need to do and you can return home relaxed and ready for early bed.

Breathing Bones
Originally devised by our beloved Rosina Bonsu, is a mindful and meditative movement practice. It offers you time to tune into the sensations of your body through a series of relaxed postures and placements of the body, predominantly lying on the mat. Together with the breath and gravity these aim to free the joints, release the muscles, realign the skeletal structure and balance the body. It is suitable for all levels and age.
