Dear movers,
As a response to the governments press conference yesterday regarding the upscale in the prevention of the COVID-19 virus in the UK, we have taken the immediate measure to close Rosina Bonsu Moves to prevent the potential spread of the coronavirus in our community. Your health and wellbeing and that of your loved ones is of the utmost importance to us and we hope you understand this action we have had to take (after much thought).
Classes will run normally today Tuesday 17 March 2020 and we will close after Sue’s Mysore session, which finishes at 20.30. You will be able to collect your mats today if you wish to do home practice. After today, and if the Arlington is open, you can ask staff to help you collect your mat.
As our beautiful sister shala Mysore Yoga Paris said, the sacred space of the studio lives in all of us even if its physical doors will be closed for an uncertain length of time. With compassion, love and generosity, the practice will keep us connected. We are here for you and if you need a chat, an online session of sun salutations, yoga resources to read while we are confined, please reach out. We will have time to take care of you as we would have wished to do so on the mat. Needless to say, monthly passes are frozen until we are able to return, and smiley cards valid for whenever you are ready to use your 8-classes.
During this time, please take care of your physical and mental health. I know this is easier said than done, especially in times of darkness and fear such as we are living. If you are struggling with any of these, please get in touch. We are here for each other. Depending on how long we stay confined, we may send checking in messages to see how everyone is doing. Please feel free to email back opting out of these.
With love,
The RBM team
