Well so much for thinking I was on top of it – have completely missed October, so here goes on both months. Evidence that I have been busy, all enjoyable!
What a wonder to be learning all the time from the classes and also the increasing number of 1-1 sessions that are proving very insightful. It is a privilege to have the opportunity to look so closely at individual bodies and offer yoga as part of a way forward.
Classes are going well and my thanks to you for continuing to come and bringing more people. Thanks for your patience and support during the difficulties with the heating and fuses at the Arlington that hopefully are behind us.
The Weekend Intensive Pranayama, Yoga and Breathing Bones with Durga Devi held at Maryhill Community Central Halls offered a pleasurable discovery of breathing and quiet connection to the physical and physiological body. There will be more.
I have been a culture vulture, Glasgay’s 20th year programme was brilliant and then lots of dance too – David Hughes, Plan B, Dance House creative lab’s, Right2Dance, and I’m off to Scottish Ballet’s Hansel and Gretel too!!!
Mosspark Primary 2 class did us all proud with their performance at Tramway as part of their contribution to the Red Shoes project. St. Albert’s and Ibrox primary were equally wonderful and I will treasure the team energy of Fiona, Andy and Jon. Looking forward the show at Tramway – do go and see this short, enjoyable and challenging family piece.
I left the best to last – the lovely, inspirational John Scott course in Paris. I am still exploring the information and passing it on as I begin to unravel the riches he generously provided.
