March 2013 update

Still feeling the excitement from the David Dodd weekend of yoga, philosophy and Breathing Bones. My thanks to all who attended as your participation helped bring about those fabulous moments of realisation and challenge. David also enjoyed himself and we have pencilled in the next weekend 20-22nd September 2013.

It is hard to believe that it is only a year ago that the first Weekend Intensive was programmed. It was with Durga Devi and she returns for her third visit from 3-5 May 2013, to offer meditation alongside the Yoga and Breathing Bones. Please check the website for details and book early, as this programme is rightly becoming popular.

The Vinyasa class on Wednesday morning is well attended and there is an additional class on Tuesday mornings due to demand. Both these classes offer drop in so please feel free to try the class as it offers the flow of the Ashtanga sequence.

I am off to Eden Court in Inverness to create an intergenerational performance on the theme of Connections, in 3 days – wish me luck.

I am delighted to be commissioned by Govan and Craigton Integration Network project ‘Diving for Pearls’. The piece will be performed in refugee week in June.

It is a pleasure to be part of the development of all you movers – it is supporting my understanding too! I know that some of you are surprised about your amazing progress but I can now quote Guruji “Practice and all is coming… 99% practice 1% theory.”

Keep up the practice.

Happy Easter.
