With only one week of classes in April who would have thought there would be news!
The slates have GONE! Thank you Andrew McGilp. Just in time as class numbers are high and all space is required, so getting the carpet up is the next target. Also it has inspired me to look at our visual presence and with the support of Brian Hartley, stillmotion and some brainstorming with practitioners we will update the design and the website soon.
The In-depth Development Training with Kia Naddermier, Mysore Yoga Paris was intense, thought provoking and thoroughly exhausting. With Laura Gonzalez, Louise Pirie and Maureen Thorpe, the Glasgow contingent undertook Ashtanga Yoga daily practice, Pranayama, Anatomy and Adjustments. Brain is full of information that we will be sharing with you and will be assimilating and digesting till we return for part 2 in October.
We also took on Paris – shopping in the market, eating croissants, drinking café alongee, cooking up a storm in our shared one room apartment! Great fun and great learning.
Ah yes I have now also the first posture of Advanced series A…. negotiating it but there in lies the challenge
The Tuesday evening counted primary series practice has morphed into primary and intermediate series counted practice with ease. Counted vinyasa once in a while will clean up your practice so please come when you can.
The Lerigoligan, Ardfern Retreat was magical.
The house and accommodation are amazing, beautiful furnishings and fittings, lovely showers and comfortable warm rooms. Big kitchen with state of the art everything, and delicious meals in the fridge created by local chef Dawn Stewart. This with the food and drink we added and a walk to the local hostelry on Saturday night made it a memorable visit.
And now to the Yoga! The Bothy space for the yoga was ideal, compact and cosy as we lit the wood burner (as well as had the heating on!). Being away gave an added intensity to the learning, being able to absorb without distractions and having time to let the experiences gained settle in. Occasionally our eyes would wander off attracted by the many colourful birds visible at the bird feeders and in the stunning natural surroundings.

I am booked for Yoga Plus Crete and will be there from 21 June. Please remember the 15% discount when booking. I will be teaching the whole of July so fingers crossed I see you for breathing bones.
