September Update

Heavens what happened to June, July and August!

In brief, I moved home and now live a stone’s throw from the Arlington Baths and within walking distance of the Academy, recently renamed the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland, (RCS)

I spent the summer in Crete doing Yoga with my teachers Radha and Pierre at Yoga Plus, consolidating my practice while meeting up with friends from all over the world and reigniting my love of Crete. I am hoping many of you will take the opportunity to go and practice with them next year!

Back in June I saw the third year students at Reid Kerr on their journey to further training and work and wish them all the best. The classes have started again for the autumn term, all the classes, NC, HNC and HND are incredibly exciting and I am already anticipating a bright future ahead for the students and dance in Scotland.

I have been asked to work with the Vocal Studies course at RCS and look forward to returning to the Opera School and Danceworks children’s class. I am also running a dance facilitators course in October/November for those working in the primary sector, please see website for more details.

In October I am delighted to be collaborating with artists Anne and Michelle in two primary schools in Drumchapel as part of the Inspiration festival, programmed by Maggie Singleton, Officer for Children and Young People at Glasgow Life.

Unfortunately my class at Dance House is no longer running.

Finally for now, the best bit – my yoga classes have started again and it wonderful to see familiar faces again after the summer break, and welcome new practitioners to the classes, yippee.

I have added 3 three new classes, so there is a yoga class everyday and a breathing bones class on Thursday evening.
