Yoga as therapy focuses on the physical, emotional and mental wellbeing of the student and the role of the yoga therapist is to focus on their clients holistically. Each session will consist of a yoga practice, a mindfulness session and varied breathing techniques. There will be a discussion and Q and A around the overall practice and how it can reduce symptoms, improve function, discover joy and help establish a regular healthy wellbeing and self-care practice. Each week builds on the previous and there will be a pack to help establish a home practice. This course is suitable for anyone wishing to improve their overall wellbeing and may be of particular interest to anyone lacking energy, feeling fatigued, low mood or with respiratory issues.
