Ashtanga Yoga is a dynamic and progressing sequence of postures linked by the breath. It requires regular practice to memorise the sequence, synchronise the breath and reap the benefits. It offer strength and flexibility, develops both physical and mental awareness, balancing the body and mind. This class is suitable for all levels of practice.
Jack O’Flynn is a Glasgow based artist and graduate of Glasgow School of Art. He began on his yoga path 5 years ago at the age of 21 and has since followed the practice to shalas in Berlin, Scotland and Cornwall.
He is grateful to have learned from his teacher Rosina Bonsu as well as Laura Grace, over the years he has taken part in workshops by Kia Naddermir, Jock Orton, Scott Johnson and Kathy Cooper among others. Jack completed his yoga teacher training under the tutelage of Rionach O’Flynn in Ireland in 2019. Jack believes in the transformative power of Astanga Yoga and is delighted to now be sharing the practice.
